遼寧的文革大武鬥 / The Major Factional Struggles in Liaoning During the Cultural Revolution

1966年毛澤東的侄子毛遠新還在哈爾濱軍事工程學院當學生時期，他就對對哈爾濱、東北、遼寧，乃至全國文革有一定的影響。後來毛遠新當了遼寧省革命委員會和瀋陽軍區的頭，當時毛澤東說“遼寧大有希望”。1968年10月13日，毛澤東在擴大的中共八屆十二中全會上講：“現在搞文化大革命，困難多，仗不好打。文化革命總比過去快一點。過去打了22年，從1927年到1949年，文化革命只打了兩年半。問題就是有思想錯誤同敵我矛盾混合在一起，一下搞不清楚。只好一個省一個省地解決。比如遼寧省三大派，打了八個月，天下大亂。不是解決了嗎。”遼寧的瀋陽、大連已經各大、中、小城市的的文革武鬥打死的人，都是驚心動魄的數字。僅在1967年8月18日，錦州的造反派群眾組織數千人參與大規模的武鬥，群眾組織“搶奪”了軍隊的三千槍支，當天的武鬥，雙方死亡21人，重傷76人。本書以當年的大字報、照片、宣傳單、宣傳畫等原始材料展現一些遼寧各地文革武鬥的歷史事實。<br>In 1966, when Mao Zedong’s nephew Mao Yuanxin was still a student at the Harbin Military Engineering Institute, he already exerted some influence on the Cultural Revolution in Harbin, Northeast China, Liaoning, and even the whole country. Later, Mao Yuanxin became head of the Liaoning Provincial Revolutionary Committee and the Shenyang Military Region. At that time Mao Zedong said, “Liaoning has great hope.” On October 13, 1968, at the enlarged 12th Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committee, Mao said: “Carrying out the Cultural Revolution now involves many difficulties and the battles are not easy to fight. The Cultural Revolution has progressed faster than in the past. It took 22 years from 1927 to 1949, but the Cultural Revolution has only taken two and a half years. The problem is that ideological errors are mixed with contradictions between the enemy and ourselves, making it impossible to clarify everything at once. We have no choice but to solve it province by province. For example, the three factions in Liaoning fought for eight months and the whole province was in chaos. Wasn’t it eventually resolved?” The number of people killed in the armed struggles in Shenyang, Dalian, and other large, medium, and small cities in Liaoning is shocking. On August 18, 1967 alone, thousands of rebel mass organizations in Jinzhou participated in large-scale armed struggle; the rebels “seized” 3,000 guns from the army. On that day, 21 people were killed and 76 seriously wounded on both sides. This book uses original materials from that era—big-character posters, photographs, leaflets, and propaganda posters—to present some historical facts of the Cultural Revolution armed struggles in various parts of Liaoning.<br>
